OXIDECOR E - NATURAL RUST EFFECT

Prime absorbent (stable) substrate using MFA Classic concentrate diluted 1:3 with water. Apply primer with a wide brush, working it well into the substrate. Priming strengthens the substrate and improves adhesiveness and coverage of further coats.
Prime absorbent (weak) substrates and surfaces of old walls with MFA PLUS diluted max. 1:3 with water. Apply primer with a wide brush, working it well into the substrate. Deeply penetrating and binding the substrate, priming strengthens it, reduces excessive absorbency, and improves the coverage of further coats.

When applied as quartz primer, Bucciato E must be diluted with 30% of water and stirred thoroughly. Apply with a wide brush, according to the direction of the decorative coat to be created. Created quartz coat will increase adhesiveness and facilitate application of further coats.

Stir Oxidecor E thoroughly before applying each layer. Can be applied to smooth substrates using an INOX trowel without diluting. When applied with a paint brush, masonry brush, or by spraying, dilute with 10 – 25% of water according to the tool and application method. Apply a thin base layer (grain–thick) to a prepared substrate, covering the whole surface. The surface can be smoothed with a roller if ridges are present.

Oxidecor E is ready to use and can be diluted with 10 – 30% of water or activating agent, according to the tool and application method. Apply Oxidecor E to a prepared base coat. Remember to apply activating agent (described in instructions for the next layer) to large areas before the coat dries. The work should be performed in stages until the whole surface is covered. The surface can be smoothed with a roller if brush marks are present.

AKTYWATOR BLUE

Apply Aktywator Blue to a drying coat of Oxidecor E using an atomiser. Keep in mind that the amount and frequency of using the atomiser depends on the drying time of the coat, the slower it dries, the more discolouration will be produced. This results from various factors such as humidity, temperature, and draughts. Do not perform work in the sun, rain, wind, and at temperatures below 0°C. The first layer should be distributed reasonably evenly over the whole surface. Before the coat dries completely, the activating agent can be applied locally in a pointwise manner to improve the corrosion effect. Leave to dry. If the effect is not satisfactory, apply another coat of Oxidecor E.

Silomal preserves coats and does not produce afterglow. Apply to the whole surface using euromal or a wide brush. Apply another layer when the first layer dries. The coat achieves its full properties 72 hours after application.

The intensity, saturation, and variability of rust can be adjusted by the amount of special activating agent applied to the surface. Without preservation, Oxidecor E remains a "living" material: the surface corrosion process continues and stops after applying a preservative.
